Tiled Roof Sunrooms

This style could be considered more a house extension than a conservatory.

Traditionally, conservatories are built with a translucent or glass roof and are separated from the main house by doors.

The Tiled Roof style conservatory is built to full Building Regulations and features a timber framed, fully insulated and plaster boarded tiled roof. In order to support the extra weight of a tiled roof each window is built as a separate unit and constructed using structural mullions (window uprights).

Foundations are built to a depth of 1000mm to comply with Building Regulations and the fully insulated base, brickwork and specification of Low-E Pilkington K-Glass in all windows and doors means that the house wall can be virtually removed, after supporting lintels have been installed, making this style ideal for customers who want the feeling of a “seamless” extension to existing living space.

The roof tiles come in a range of colours and finishes to better match existing roofing materials, making the new room blend in better with the house.
