The Edwardian Style Conservatory

The Edwardian conservatory is basically square or rectangular in shape though there is a version where you can specify one of the corners to be faceted like a Victorian. Not surprisingly, this is called and Edwardian/Victorian Mix! There are numerous Edwardian style photographs in the attached gallery and you will notice that you can specify either a hipped (sloping) or Gabled front. Add to that the stylish, ornate cresting and finial and you have a conservatory to compliment almost every home.

Using PVC-U framework finishes are currently available in Brilliant White, “Mahogany” or “Light Oak” finish inside and out or “Mahogany ” or “Light Oak outside with Brilliant White inside. We are currently introducing a wider range of timber-like finishes to look both like natural timber or even a grained coloured finish.

This style is also available in powder-coated Aluminium framework painted in virtually any colour you can think of!

The Edwardian style conservatory is available in widths and depths up to 6 metres without the need for portal framing (steel supporting pillars and roof supports) making it very versatile and suitable for 99% of likely applications.

For low roofline situations or where a roof face would channel water back towards the house wall, this style can be hipped back down into stainless steel box gutter(s). The box gutters are all individually constructed and so can be made to cope with out-of-square and complicated walls e.g. where a chimneybreast is set into the wall where the conservatory is to be sited.
